New classes starting in April

Exciting times on Wednesdays from April at Pilates Esher as we introduce 3 new classes to the timetable. 9.30am Barre Class and 11.30am Yoga taught by Georgia Remnant and 7.00pm Mixed Ability Mat class taught by Fleur webb. For further information please contact us at the studio. All 3 of these classes are available for those with mat class packs, and we do drop ins too, so come along and try!
Studio Circuit Sessions now on the timetable!

We are now offering Studio Circuit sessions. These fun and challenging workouts will involve rotating around all the Pilates studio equipment, including the Reformer, Jump Board, Cadillac, Ladder Barrel and Mat. These classes are fast paced and incorporate a cardiovascular element. We ask that clients have had experience of using the equipment before joining this class. This could be in the form of private sessions or Reformer classes. Click here to book.
Pilates for Men on Monday Evenings

Due to popular demand Pilates for Men classes have now started on Monday evenings at 8.20pm with Virginie. Men are, of course, welcome to all of our classes, but if you would prefer a men only space then this is the class for you. Spaces are limited so be sure to book yourself in!
Reformer Classes starting in September

Due to popular demand we are delighted to announce that we are now offering Reformer Classes. We have recently purchased our third Reformer which is now all built and looking very smart. Come and join us and try a class. Reformer 1 is our Beginners class, Reformer 2 is Intermediate class and Reformer 3 is our Advanced class.
Teacher Workshops 13th and 14th October 2018

We are so excited to announce this! Join our very own Paul Howse, Kristi - Gone Adventuring Pilates, Agi Falenta and Katharine Jemmet for a full weekend of teacher workshops. Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th October at Pilates Esher studio. Pilates teachers can book individual workshops or the entire weekend. One to one sessions will also available. Gentle Chair and Standing Pilates starting 11th July

Gentle Pilates classes using the chair and incorporating some standing work will begin at the studio on the 11th July and will take place every Wednesday thereafter from 10.30am-11.25am. This class is ideal for people who may have restricted mobility or reduced fitness and are looking for a gentle, low impact movement class with the aim of strengthening the body, improving flexibility and balance and increasing overall sense of well-being. Pre-Natal Pilates on the way in June!

It's all go here at Pilates Esher as we are pleased to announce that we will be starting our Pre-Natal Pilates Classes on 23rd June. Classes will be taught by our lovely Emma on Saturday mornings. Pilates offers great benefits during pregnancy including a safe form of exercise which strengthens the muscles and functions that can be a problem during pregnancy and after birth including reducing back pain, strengthening the tummy and pelvic floor, improving balance and aiding relaxation and breathing. Advanced Dynamic Pilates Classes start

Our Advanced Dynamic Pilates classes have now begun on Wednesdays at 12.30pm. This is our fastest paced class which will really put you through your paces! Classes are taught by Paul Howse and are suitable for people who have been practicing Pilates for a while and are injury-free. If you would like to join this class you can book via our timetable. Pilates for Cyclists off to a cracking start!

On Tuesday evenings we run two specific Pilates classes for cyclists. During these tailored classes we look at some of the postural imbalances caused by hours in the saddle such as low back pain, knee pain and neck and upper back pain. Exercises are especially chosen to off set some of these issues as well as developing that all important core strength and stability in order to maximise efficiency on the bike. We are delighted to be working in partnership with Giro Cycles on this. We were honoured to welcome Lynne Robinson, founder of Body Control Pilates, to the official opening of Pilates Esher on the 17th March 2018. Lynne and her husband Leigh have been, and continue to be, instrumental in bringing Pilates to people across the world and Body Control Pilates is the largest Pilates teacher training organisation in Europe.
